She can’t nap in her stroller… she wants be looking around and taking everything in. I would, too, if I were her. That’s why I like to travel! So I’m looking for ways to help my daughter sleep on the go.
We considered staying in our hotel room around her nap schedule, but even then the hotel room is like a giant toy for her, waiting to be explored. Despite her nap challenges, she was in a great mood and enjoyed her vacation as much as mom and dad.
And wearing her isn’t always an option (she still wants to look and see everything).
I’ve tried tying light swaddle blankets to her stroller, but she ends up just trying to play with them with her feet. And they are very thin, so they let in a lot of light. And I worry they do not let in enough air.
Is the SnoozeShade the Answer?
While doing some research online, I found SnoozeShade. A mom in the UK designed a product that is supposed to minimize distractions and light while a child is in her stroller (or car seat or play yard). It has a lot of positive reviews, so I am anxious to try it out.
I would love if I can help my 10 month old daughter sleep more in her stroller. The SleepShade seems like a promising solution to help her get some more zzz’s. Have you tried the SnoozeShade? What do you do to help your child sleep on the go?
