If not, try it out anyway.  Because you don’t have much to lose, and it only takes a minute to sign-up!

In a month or so, you might find yourself with 5,000 Virgin America points. 🙂

Folks who already have a Virgin America account have reported being targeted too, so even if you’re already a member of Virgin America’s frequent traveler program (Elevate), you might as well sign-up again.

More About Virgin America Points

Check out my series on earning and using Virgin America points.

You can use Virgin America points on partner airlines like Singapore Airlines, Emirates, and Virgin Atlantic.  And folks on the West Coast can find great deals using Virgin America points for flights on Hawaiian Airlines to Hawaii.

5,000 Virgin America points is more than enough for a one-way coach ticket between islands in Hawaii, which costs 3,000 Virgin America points!

If you need more points for a trip, you can also transfer Citi ThankYou points to Virgin America.  Or consider the Virgin America Signature or Premium Signature card.  Here’s my review of these 2 cards.
