What’s the Deal?

Discounts usually range from 30% to 50% off certain items, or combinations of items. Like entrees, or 1 entree with 1 appetizer.
When you find a restaurant you like, click “More details” to see the terms of the discount. And to read reviews!
TheFork has a large web community and users aren’t shy about sharing their opinions!
You can search for restaurants based on location, cuisine, ratings, discounts, and many other criteria.
Keep in mind that discounts can vary by day. On each restaurant’s page, there’s a calendar.
And you can make sure the reservation you want is available.
To receive the discount, check-in when you arrive at the restaurant. All discounts will be on the bill automatically!
Where Can You Dine?
Originally a French website started in 2006 (called LaFourchette), the service has expanded to many countries in Europe (and Brazil!).
True to its roots, there is a heavy emphasis on French cities. So, if you’re traveling to France, you’ll definitely want to sign-up!
Paris in particular is very popular!
How to Sign-Up for TheFork

Go to the sign-up page.
You can fill-in your information and then click “Subscribe.”
Or you can click “Connect via Facebook” to automatically fill-in your information.
In the past, some folks have found it easier to sign-up using their Facebook accounts. As always, do what’s best for you!
TheFork also has an app for iPhone and Android phones.
Don’t Forget Your Yums!
Another perk of signing-up for TheFork is its loyalty program.
You’ll automatically receive points called “Yums” each time you make a reservation.
For each booking, you’ll earn 100 Yums. After 10 bookings, you’ll have enough to redeem for 10 Euros (~$11) off your next meal.
If you plan on eating out a lot in Europe, this is an added perk!
