Late last year Hyatt announced their partnership with Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH). And over the last couple of months, more and more SLH locations have joined the World of Hyatt program.
The exciting news? Beginning today, February 27, 2019, 57 more SLH properties around the world will be joining the partnership. This brings the total number of SLH locations participating in Hyatt’s loyalty program to 167, and includes hotels in a variety of countries around the world, like England, Greece, Portugal, Mozambique, Italy, and more!
Fortunately too, Hyatt points are extremely easy to earn directly from the World of Hyatt Credit Card. Or even better, you can transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards points to Hyatt from cards like the Chase Sapphire Preferred Card, Ink Business Preferred Credit Card, or Chase Sapphire Reserve.
Now the Hotel Da Estrela Lisboa can be booked with Hyatt or Chase Ultimate Rewards points
Here’s more about the ever-growing partnership between Hyatt and SLH, and how you can use your travel rewards for free stays at these new locations.
Use Hyatt Points at 57 More Luxury Hotels
Hyatt has added 57 more SLH properties to its loyalty program, meaning you have 57 more locations at which you can use points to book free nights!
One of the best aspects of this partnership is that you don’t need any Hyatt elite status to get these perks at the partner SLH locations:
- Free Wi-Fi
- Daily free continental breakfast for 2 guests
- 1 category room upgrade (at check-in if available)
- Early check-in (noon, based upon availability at check-in)
- Late check-out (2:00 pm, based upon availability at check-in)
The free breakfast benefit is great considering other loyalty programs, like IHG, don’t even offer that perk to top-tier elites.
You’ll also be able to earn Hyatt points for your paid stays. You’ll get:
- 5 Hyatt points per $1 spent on eligible purchases
- Qualifying nights at SLH hotels will count toward earning World of Hyatt elite-tier status
- Members with Hyatt elite status will receive their bonus points for eligible purchases
Having more options for using your points is always a good thing! I look forward to this partnership expanding even more in the future.
Earn More Hyatt Points
If you’re looking for ways to earn more Hyatt points for free stays at many of these beautiful new SLH properties, consider opening the World of Hyatt Credit Card. It currently comes with up to 60,000 Hyatt points after meeting the card’s tiered minimum spending requirements. Or you can transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards points to Hyatt at a 1:1 ratio if you have one of these cards:
- Ink Business Preferred Credit Card
- Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card
- Chase Sapphire Reserve®
