    Last week I let you know that Emirates, Etihad, and Turkish Airlines were now exempt from the electronics ban between the US and the Middle East and North Africa.

    Now, via Live From a Lounge, 3 more airlines have been cleared!  You can now bring laptops, tablets, and more onto Kuwait Airlines, Royal Jordanian, and Qatar Airways flights!

    I let you know when the Department of Homeland Security restricted folks from bringing certain personal electronic devices into the airplane for flights to the US from the Middle East and North Africa.

    The ban includes:

    But airlines are slowly being released from the ban!  Last week, the ban was lifted from Etihad, Turkish Airlines, and Emirates.  And now we can add Kuwait Airways, Royal Jordanian, and Qatar Airways to that list!

    Note:   Always stay updated on the electronics ban.  It would stink to not bring electronics with you onto an airline that has had the ban lifted!

    Bottom Line

    The electronics ban now affects many fewer folks than before!  In the past week, the ban has been lifted from Kuwait Airways, Royal Jordanian, and Qatar Airways.  So you’re free to use your laptop, tablet, or e-reader in-flight!
