Daily Getaways is a promotion sponsored by the US Travel Association offering discounts on hotels like HiltonAlamo car rental certificates, and attractions like Universal Studios Hollywood.

Here’s today’s deal.

 You can buy deeply discounted IHG hotel points, from ~0.57 cents per point to 0.6 cents per point:

  • 15,000 IHG points for $90 (0.6 cents per point)
  • 25,000 IHG points for $150 (0.6 cents per point)
  • 50,000 IHG points for $293 (~0.59 cents per point)
  • 100,000 IHG points for $565 (~0.57 cents per point)

IHG normally sells points for 1.15 to 1.35 cents each.  And you can buy points for 0.7 cents each with the IHG Points & Cash trick.  So ~0.57 to 0.6 cents per point is a great deal!

But this deal will NOT last long!

Buying points could make sense if you redeem them at expensive hotels in cities like New York or London.  Or for booking 5,000 IHG points PointBreaks nights for $30 a night!

For example, you could buy 50,000 IHG points for $293 and stay at the InterContinental London Park Lane.

A paid night costs 277 British pounds (~$411).

So you can save a lot of money buying IHG points through Daily Getaways and using them for award stays!  But you should check the prices of the IHG hotels you want to stay at first!

At 1:00 pm Eastern Time, you can purchase discounted IHG points through Daily Getaways.

You can buy points for as little as 0.57 cents per point!  IHG normally sells points for 1.15 to 1.35 cents per point so you’ve saving 50%!  And buying points through the IHG Points & Cash trick costs 0.7 cents each.  So this is a great deal!

@Tung – Until sold out. I just checked and says limited quantities left. I purchased earlier today and will use at a property in Europe this summer for my Round the World vacation, thanks to Daraius’ helpful tips.

Quick question before taking action: For IHG promo, do I have to buy by mid-night tonight or the offer will be available until sold out like the Alamo deal? Fine prints didn’t address that too much. Thanks in advance!

@Unrea Brown – Try putting something along the lines of :

PSC 41 Box 1228

New York, NY 09464.

I use to have the same problem trying to buy plane tickets from Ryan air or bus tickets. For some reason putting New York sometimes works. A friend showed it to me a couple of years ago…good luck
