I looked at several dates at all the participating hotels and you can usually get 2 nights for less than the cost of 1 night! However, your exact savings will depend on your travel dates and hotel.
For example, it costs ~$902 for 2 nights at the Loews Miami Beach Resort on September 19, 2014, to September 21, 2014. Using a 2 night certificate you save ~$552 (~$902 cash price – $350 certificate cost).
If you use your American Express card, you’ll save an extra 10%. So you would save ~$587 (~$902 cash price – $350 certificate cost – $111 discount for using an American Express card that gets a 10% discount). That’s a lot of savings!
