Dubai has been on my bucket list for a while. I’m a fan of needlessly outrageous things and Dubai could really scratch that itch. I mean who doesn’t want to ski on an indoor ski-slope?
I’m hoping that my future visit won’t involve a water cannon salute like this Saudi Arabian Airlines flight had in Dubai. You can see as the side of the plane gets hit by the water cannon the evacuation slide deploys just behind the left wing.

The water cannon salute was in honor of Saudi Arabia’s 88th anniversary. I’m not sure when the water cannon salute first became a thing, but I’m thinking there has got be a better way to celebrate. Maybe try giving everyone in economy a second free packet of Biscoff cookies?
I’d like to know how wet the exit row passengers got. At least everyone on board had a good story to take home. I’d take the delay for the experience.
