I recently watched the first episode of Netflix’s new show, Somebody Feed Phil.  Part comedy, part travel, part history, and part gastronomy, this is an inspiring show to watch that will want to make you follow in Phil’s footsteps.

The first episode covers Venice, and Phil goes to several authentic restaurants around the city.  It reminds me of my last trip to Venice, where I used American Airlines miles on an Air Berlin flight!  But now I want to go back and explore the city like Phil.

How to Get American Airlines Miles for a Trip to Venice

Here are a couple of of the top cards to get lots of American Airlines miles.  Remember that 1-way trips to Venice in economy can be found for 30,000 miles, or you can fly 1-way in luxury in Business Class for 57,500 miles for Saver awards!

For a Netflix travel show, I would recommend Travels with My Father with Jack Whitehall. It’s addictive and hilarious!

Thanks for the tip! I’ll have to check out this as well!

Your article does not mention anything about that biz class availability only being available through British Airways, so the taxes/fees make those “reward flights” extremely expensive.

Thanks for the feedback! For some, the fees are worth it to fly in business or first class.
