Last weekend, I flew to Chicago for the 9th year of the Chicago Seminars.  The Chicago Seminars is a miles and points conference and has various sessions where you can learn beginner tips and tricks, to more advanced hotel and airline redemption advice.

In the miles and points world, you can go to kindergarten, or get your PhD.  The seminars are a great way to learn about new topics, whatever your skill level is!

You Can Always Meet New Friends at the Chicago Seminars

Million Mile Secrets Gave Away Travel-Inspired Swag

We gave away tons of new swag, like super cool tote bags and T-shirts designed by fellow travel blogger Caroline from Travel is Free!  Our T-shirts were gone within ~1 to 2 hours from the start of the conference!

We Gave Away Lots of T-Shirts, Tote Bags, Notepads, Pens, and Stickers at the Event!

We Met New Travel-Loving Friends

I met up with Haley, who runs the Facebook group, Girls Love Travel.  I’ve been a member for years and love the community.  Ladies all around the world share their travel tips and inspiration!

Toni Southam, a very talented travel photographer, also made an appearance and gave a talk on how to take the best pictures when traveling.

I love going to the Chicago Seminars because it feels like family.  Some of the same people go every year, so it’s nice to see familiar faces.  And every year, there are lots of newbies to welcome!  What I like best is that you’re surrounded by people who not only love to travel, but love to save money!
