The classics are classic for a reason – they have withstood the test of time.  We all watch It’s a Wonderful Life every Christmas season because the story is timeless, even if the black and white coloring isn’t.

Well, all you film buffs looking to spend some time relaxing with like-minded folks while enjoying your old favorites on the big screen are in luck!  In 2019, the Turn Classic Movie (TCM) cruise is back and hitting the high seas!  It will be sailing from New York to Bermuda, October 22 to 27, 2019!

Sit Back and Relax With All the Best of the Silver Screen

The cruise is about much more than watching films at the onboard movie screens & theaters.  Although it is definitely a rare treat to watch these old films on the big screen with a cocktail in hand while lounging at the pool!

There will also be panel discussions and events to bring you behind the scenes of the movie-making process.  And you’ll be able to put your movie knowledge to the test at trivia events and eat at themed dining parties.  It will be 5-nights of movie paradise!

You’ll also get to hob-knob with TCM stars, like Ben Mankiewicz, who will be hosting the event.  The full schedule of events has yet to be announced, but you can expect a wide range of classic film stars to be added to the list of attendees.  In the past, super-stars like Ernest Borgnine, Jerry Lewis, Alex Trebek, and Kim Novak have joined the cruise as special guests.

Double occupancy rooms start at $1,745 per person and pre-sales are open now.  While it’s not cheap, you can easily save $800+ on airfare and other expenses by earning miles & points with one of the top travel rewards credit cards!

Have you been to a TCM live event like this before?  What are your thoughts?  I’ve heard that the sense of community can’t be beaten!
