I was targeted for Platinum Pro. I was Alaska MVP in 2017 and renewed my status for 2018 thanks in part to several (mostly short haul) AA flights. Wonder if AA did the math to estimate my overall flying activity on AS and its partners.

I’ve heard that from other folks as well. It’s definitely possible that they are looking at flights credited to partner airlines.

Evidently 34 years of loyalty carries no weight with AA. I was asked to pay $2395 for Platinum Pro status.

Ugh, that’s a bummer. 🙁
