If you’ve got a Priority Pass membership there is another US restaurant you can use it at and another one that will join the network in a few days!

You can now enjoy Priority Pass benefits at Tampa International Airport, and starting on October 22, 2018, there will be another option in Washington DC (Dulles)!

Folks Traveling Through the Tampa Airport Can Now Save Some Cash With Their Priority Pass Membership

The Cafe by Mise en Place (Tampa) is located after security in concourse F and is open from 4:30 am until the last flight departs.

With your Priority Pass membership and a valid same-day boarding pass, you’re entitled to $28 worth of food & drinks per person, but the credit won’t cover the tip.  Also, you can get the credit for 1 additional guest (in addition to the cardholder), which means you can get up to $56 off your bill ($28 per person X 2 people).

According to One Mile at a Time, starting on October 22, 2018, you’ll also be able to use your Priority Pass at Chef Geoff’s in Dulles airport.  The restaurant is open from 6 am to 10 pm daily and is located in Concourse C after security.  You can get up to $28 off your bill per person (up to 2 people or $56), but you’ll need a valid same-day boarding pass to be eligible for the credit, which again won’t cover the tip.

We are almost down to the last 2 on our Ascend. Would the Tampa one (or any) work for when we land at Tampa or only when we are taking off? Only asking as I heard it’s getting stricter. We have been able to use BWI after landing. And I know a friend delayed picking up their luggage so they could use a lounge. Not sure I would go that far :).

The terms for the Tampa restaurant just say that you need “an active boarding pass.” And later on it says it needs to be a boarding pass for confirmed say day travel. So it’s worth a shot.

I think lots of people have had success with restaurant visits after landing, but it’s a case-by-case basis depending on the location. You can check the individual terms for each restaurant on the Priority Pass site. That’s probably the best way to go, other than just trying it out yourself.

Years ago, The Pasta House use to be a cheap place to eat and wash it down with either ice tea or $2 bottle beer. Each Monday after 4 pm, it was all you could eat for under $7. While I’m certain the 2 units at Lambert (STL) weren’t open then, many of the B&M have closed over the years.

Good to know, I haven’t eaten there myself, but I’ll check it out my next time through STL.

Thanks for the summary. I’d like to add just one caveat. On the way to my destination I stopped at the Timberline Restaurant in Denver and it was very good. On the return flight I was rushing to catch my connecting flight and discovered that the Priority Pass doesn’t cover “take out.” Not a deal breaker but just a heads up.

That’s really good to know, never considered that before.

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised by the restaurant in Denver on a layover. It was so easy to use our pass, the staff was great, good food, and a nice little substitute for a lounge.

Good to hear, the restaurant perk is such a great addition for Priority Pass members.

Any news on when Priority Pass is coming to John Wayne/Santa Ana/Orange County?

Haven’t heard anything, but we’ll keep you up to date if we do!
