Our friends at Hyatt just let us know about an amazing opportunity for The Hyatt Card holders!

If you have the Chase Hyatt card, you can register to fast track to Explorist or Globalist status.  And earn status in much fewer nights than usual!

Only 20 Nights Instead Of 60 For Top Tier Hyatt Status
With Hyatt Globalist Status You’ll Get Suite Upgrades and Free Breakfast at Hotels Like the Park Hyatt New York

If you stay a minimum number of tier-qualifying nights at any Hyatt hotel or resort between September 1, 2017, and December 30, 2017, you’ll earn a new elite status through February 2019:

  • To qualify for Explorist status, cardmembers must complete 10 nights (normally 30 nights)
  • To qualify for Globalist status, cardmembers must complete 20 nights (normally 60 nights)

This is a terrific deal if you’re a Chase Hyatt cardholder and have Hyatt nights coming up anyway.  Keep in mind, Hyatt Cash + Points nights DO qualify toward earning elite status!

If you earn Explorist status, you’ll get upgrades (excluding suites), and 4 Club lounge access awards, which include daily breakfast.  And folks with Globalist status get standard suite upgrades, 4:00 pm late check-out upon request, and Club lounge access.

Only 20 Nights Instead Of 60 For Top Tier Hyatt Status
Hyatt Globalist Elites Get Free Breakfast! Yum!

To get in on the deal, Chase Hyatt cardholders must register with their World of Hyatt membership number by September 30, 2017.  And you won’t need to cancel and rebook existing reservations.

Bottom Line

This is an excellent deal if you have the Chase Hyatt card!  You can fast-track to Hyatt elite status by registering before September 30, 2017.  And staying a specified number of nights between September 1, 2017, and December 30, 2017:

  • To qualify for Explorist status, cardmembers must complete 10 nights (normally 30 nights)
  • To qualify for Globalist status, cardmembers must complete 20 nights (normally 60 nights)

Let me know if you’ll do the fast-track!

I know Hyatt Cash + Points count towards status, do only point stays also count? If not, Hyatt needs to look to be more competitive with Marriott/SPG which do count award nights as stays.

Points don’t count for Hyatt.

I am traveling to Seattle in November and will be staying for 3 nights. If it was using points & Cash, I know it will count as a stay. However, if i make multiple booking (for a family member), will I be awarded for the additional booking?

Any feedback on this? Anyone?

This is a TOTAL SLAP IN THE FACE to current Globalist members who have already stayed 40 or so nights!

Million Mile Secrets

I understand why folks who’ve already put in most of the stays to earn Globalist status would be upset.

How long does that status stay effective? Forever?

Through February 2019

Million Mile Secrets

Thanks for helping out Josh! Yes, February 2019.

Can you use any credit card for these bookings or do you need to use the Chase Hyatt credit card?

Million Mile Secrets

As far as I know, you can use any card. But you do have to register for the promotion and be a Chase Hyatt cardholder.
