By signing up with a Visa credit card, you allow Priority Club and Visa to send you up to 3 text messages a week and to use your credit card’s transaction history to send you targeted messages.

I signed up, but unsubscribed as soon as I got the first text message!  I couldn’t find anything in the terms and conditions to indicate that I have to be signed up for a certain period to get the 500 points.

You need a Priority Club membership number, so sign-up for Priority Club membership if you are not a member.

Step 1

Use your Visa credit card to enroll in the Priority Club On the Go promotion.

After several weeks after I signed up, I finally got the first junk text. Hopefully this means I will actually get the points 🙂

@David Gutierrez – I signed up and unsubscribed as soon as I got the first junk message a few days later. Thanks for the update!

David Gutierrez

@EricT I am having the same problem…….

Million Mile Secrets

EricT & David Gutierrez – That’s very strange. I got the text message a few minutes after signing up. Perhaps using a different browser may help?

I tried this yesterday and again today, but the text message never reached my cell. Not sure what happened, but oh well.

You also have to give them permission to access 13 months of your transactions, including flight data. That was not worth 500 points to me.

@Katherine – Thanks for sharing and for pointing out that different folks evaluate offers differently!
