Via Running with Miles, you can earn 50,000 Hilton points and a $50 statement credit with the AMEX Hilton Honors card when you complete the minimum spending. And there’s no annual fee!
You’ll get 10,000 more Hilton points with another offer for AMEX Hilton Honors card. But the $50 statement credit may make this new offer a better deal!
I’ll show you how to get this offer and take a look at which deal is better!
New AMEX Hilton Honors Offer
There’s a new offer for the Hilton Honors Card from American Express. You’ll earn 50,000 Hilton points when you sign-up and spend $750 on purchases within the 1st 3 months. (EXPIRED.)
Plus, when you make your 1st purchase on the card within a year of opening your account, you’ll earn a $50 statement credit.
You’ll also get:
- 7 Hilton points per $1 spent at Hilton hotels
- 5 Hilton points per $1 spent at US restaurants, supermarkets, and gas stations
- 3 Hilton points per $1 spent on all other purchases
- Hilton Silver elite status
- No annual fee
- Terms & conditions apply
I wouldn’t use this card outside of the US because it charges 2.7% in foreign transaction fees.
How to Get This Deal
Here’s how to find this new offer for the AMEX Hilton Honors card:
- Go to the Hilton website
- Search for a hotel room at any destination
- Select a room and enter your personal information
- When you get to the page where it asks for your billing information, you should see the card offer
What’s Better – 10,000 Hilton Points or $50?
There’s also another offer for the AMEX Hilton Honors card. When you sign-up and spend $750 on purchases within the 1st 3 months of opening your account, you’ll earn 60,000 Hilton points.
This gives you 10,000 more Hilton points, but you won’t earn the $50 statement credit. So which deal is better?
Folks typically value Hilton points at ~0.5 cents per point. That would make the 10,000 extra Hilton points you earn worth ~$50. So it’s a very similar offer.
With the $50 statement credit you aren’t tied down with blackout dates or even Hilton hotels. You can use the credit however you want. So this is a better deal for most folks.
That said, if you have a trip coming up and you need the extra 10,000 points to book your stay, go with the 60,000 Hilton points sign-up bonus.
Do what works for you! Just remember you can only earn the sign-up bonus on AMEX personal cards once per lifetime!

The AMEX Hilton Honors card could be a good deal for folks who don’t want to pay an annual fee. But some cards are well worth the fee and can save much more!
My favorite Hilton card is the Citi Hilton HHonors Reserve card because you’ll earn 2 weekend nights at almost any Hilton hotel when you complete the minimum spending.
And if you frequently stay at Hilton hotels, the AMEX Hilton Honors Surpass card will give you the most Hilton points per $1 spent at Hilton hotels.

Bottom Line
You can now earn 50,000 Hilton points and a $50 statement credit with the AMEX Hilton HHonors card when you complete the minimum spending.
To find the offer, go to the Hilton website and make a test reservation. When you get to the payment page, you should see the card banner. For most folks this is a better deal than the AMEX Hilton Honors 60,000 Hilton point offer. That’s because the extra 10,000 points is worth ~$50, but the $50 statement credit gives you more flexibility.
However, if you have an upcoming stay planned and need the extra 10,000 Hilton points, consider the 60,000 Hilton points offer instead.
That said, my favorite Hilton card is still the Citi Hilton HHonors Reserve. Because you can earn 2 weekend nights when you complete the minimum spending. You can use those 2 nights to stay at luxurious Hilton hotels that cost ~$1,000 per night!
