TravelPony often has good deals on hotel stays.  And sometimes you can save even more by booking through the TravelPony app.

3.   Now Hold American Airlines Flights for Over 24 Hours

American Airlines used to hold paid tickets up to 24 hours.

Via The Forward Cabin, you can now hold American Airlines for up to 5 days.  However, this new feature will come with a small fee.  The exact cost will depend upon your destination and travel dates.

You Can Now Pay to Hold Your American Airlines Paid Ticket for Longer Than 24 Hours

Depending on the cost, this could be useful for folks who see a decent price, but still want time to see if a better deal comes along.

4.   IHG to Aquire Kimpton Hotels

Via View From the Wing, IHG has reached a deal to buy Kimpton hotels.

The deal isn’t finished yet!  And as we’ve seen with the American Airlines and US Airways merger, these types of transitions take time.  So it could be a while before you see any real changes.

I Hope IHG Adopts Kimpton’s Unique Advertising! #WhoDoesThat

This could be good news for IHG hotel members because they will have more hotel options in more locations.  It will be interesting to see if we find some Kimpton Hotels on the IHG PointBreaks list in the future!
