Update: One or more card offers in this post are no longer available. Check our Hot Deals for the latest offers.
1. Chase Hyatt Credit Card. I’ve just been told that the Chase Hyatt credit card with no minimum spending through my affiliate link will be available until 10:00 am EST tomorrow (October 10, 2012). The offer was supposed to disappear today, but I’ve been informed that it will be available for another day.
Yesterday, I posted on a different offer for the Chase Hyatt credit card which doesn’t pay me a referral, but is likely the better deal (if you can meet the $1,000 spending) because you get a $100 statement credit after spending $1,000 within 3 months.
Use code “BIGDEAL40” in the Promo Code box when making your booking
You have to buy your tickets by 11:59 pm PST, Thursday,October 11, 2012 and here are some restrictions.
- Travel between November 28, 2012 and December 12, 2012 or January 7, 2013 and February 14, 2013
- No Sunday travel
- Round trip travel only
- There are blackout dates and restrictions on very few flights
I tested a few flights, but found that the discount was only for paid Southwest flights. Award flights did not show the 40% discount.
If you cancel a paid flight on Southwest, the ticketed passenger gets a credit which can be used for up to 1 year after the booking was made, with no change fee.
If you’ve already booked trips, it doesn’t hurt to check to see if they are available for less because you can always cancel and rebook your flights for no change fee.
3. 5,000 United Miles for United Credit Card Holders Update. Million Mile Secrets reader Josnei commented that the 5,000 United mile offer which I blogged about earlier appears to be targeted.
Mommy Points has an update as well. I wouldn’t spend money on my United card in the hope of getting the extra miles for this promotion.
