INSIDER SECRET: Marriott points aren’t just handy for booking hotel nights – you can also transfer Marriott points to airlines. This includes many useful airline loyalty programs like Alaska Airlines, Japan Airlines and American Airlines.

With the new Marriott Bonvoy Bold™ Credit Card, you can earn 50,000 Marriott points after meeting minimum spending requirements. That’s a good offer for a card with no annual fee.

Depending on how you use your points, you could save hundreds of dollars off your next stay at a Marriott hotel in spots all over the world, like New York, Cancun, Madrid and more.

Here are the details.

New Marriott Bonvoy Bold Credit Card Is Open for Applications

You can apply for the Marriott Bonvoy Bold Credit Card here

The Marriott Bonvoy Bold Credit Card comes with 50,000 Marriott points after spending $2,000 on purchases in the first three months from account opening.

You’ll also get:

  • 3 Marriott points per dollar spent at participating Marriott hotels
  • 2 Marriott points per dollar spent on travel
  • 1 Marriott points per dollar spent on all other purchases
  • 15 elite night credits each calendar year
  • No annual fee

In addition to those perks, with the Marriott Bonvoy Bold card, your points in your loyalty account don’t expire as long as you make a purchase with the card every 24 months. Plus, the card comes with benefits like trip delay reimbursement, baggage delay insurance, lost luggage reimbursement and purchase protection. Those are decent benefits for a card with no annual fee.

That said, this card is impacted by the Chase 5/24 rule, so if you’ve opened five or more cards from any bank (except certain business cards) in the past 24 months, you won’t be approved for the card.

There are other application restrictions as well. You’re not eligible for the card if you’re a:

  • Current card member of the Marriott Bonvoy™ Premier credit card (also known as Marriott Rewards® Premier), Marriott Bonvoy Boundless™ Credit Card (also known as Marriott Rewards® Premier Plus), Marriott Bonvoy Bold™ credit card, or
  • Previous card member of the Marriott Bonvoy™ Premier credit card (also known as Marriott Rewards® Premier), Marriott Bonvoy Boundless™ Credit Card (also known as Marriott Rewards® Premier Plus), or Marriott Bonvoy Bold™ credit card, who received a new card member bonus within the last 24 months.

And you aren’t eligible for the welcome bonus if you:

That’s an important note because if you’re looking for a Marriott points earning card there are others out there that offer bigger bonuses and better perks, including the:
