The new list of IHG PointBreaks hotels is out! You can book these hotels for just 5,000 IHG points per night!
Because you can use the Cash & Points trick to buy points for 0.7 cents per point, you’re paying only $35 per night!
Book and stay by January 31, 2016. But if you’re interested, remember the best hotels fill up very quickly.
These are terrific deals because IHG hotels normally cost 10,000 to 50,000 IHG points per night.
The new IHG PointBreaks list will be activated some time today. If you don’t see the latest hotels yet, check back later.

Here are a few hotels which look interesting to me! But check out the full list to see if there’s a hotel that fits with your travel plans.
Holiday Inn Resort Bali Benoa – Indonesia
Holiday Inn Johannesburg Airport – South Africa
InterContinental Cairo Semiramis – Egypt
Holiday Inn Chicago O’Hare Area – Illinois
Holiday Inn Vilnius – Lithuania
Holiday Inn Express Springfield – Vermont
Crowne Plaza Philadelphia – Bucks County – Pennsylvania
Holiday Inn Helsinki Vantaa Airport – Finland
Remember, you can usually cancel IHG award bookings without penalty (but double check the hotel cancellation policy before booking!). So there’s no harm in booking now, because you can always get your points back.
Need More IHG Points?
There are lots of ways you can earn IHG points:
- Use Cash & Points to buy points
- Transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards points from your Chase Sapphire Preferred, Chase Ink Bold, or Chase Ink Plus
- Chase IHG Rewards Club Select Credit Card – 60,000 IHG points when you spend $1,000 on purchases in the first 3 months of opening your account. The $49 annual fee is waived the first year. And you get a free night on your cardmember anniversary each year (well worth the annual fee!)
You can transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards points to IHG at a 1:1 ratio. I don’t usually recommend this, because you’ll often get more value by transferring Chase Ultimate Rewards points to partners like Hyatt and United Airlines.
However, transferring points to get a PointBreaks stay may be worth it!
You can book any hotel on the IHG PointBreaks list fo just 5,000 IHG points through January 31, 2016.
Don’t wait, because the best hotels fill up quickly.
This is a terrific deal if these hotels fit into your travel plans. You’ll save 5,000 to 45,000 IHG points per night!
Remember, you can usually cancel an IHG award stay without penalty (but check the hotel cancellation policy). So there’s no harm in booking now and canceling later if plans change.
