Delta is adding more flights to Europe, Israel, Orlando, and more.

Delta’s New Flights for 2016
Delta is adding new routes and seasonal flights in 2016. That’s great because you’ll have more choices and a better chance of finding award and paid seats.
Here are the some of the new flights you’ll find:
- Detroit to Munich, Germany, starting May 26, 2016, (6 times weekly)
- Los Angeles to Sun Valley starting February 13th, 2016, to April 7, 2016, (Once a week)
- Minneapolis to Rome, Italy, starting May 26, 2016, (Daily)
- New York (JFK) to Tel Aviv, Israel, starting May 26, 2016, (11 times per week)
- New York (JFK) to Edinburgh, starting May 26, 2016, ( Daily)
- Orlando to Sao Paulo, Brazil starting December 19, 2015, (4X weekly), and February 20, 2016, (Daily)
- Raleigh-Durham to Paris (Charles de Gaulle), starting May 12, 2016, (Daily)
- Salt Lake City to London starting May 1, 2016, (seasonal flights, Daily)
- Seattle to Boston starting April 4, 2016, (Daily)
- Seattle to Orange County starting May 1, 2016 (4X per day)
- Seattle to Orlando starting December 19, 2015, (Daily)

This is also good news for folks who have Citi ThankYou or Chase Ultimate Rewards points. That’s because you can use those points to buy nearly any flight with NO blackout dates through their travel portals!
You can buy paid tickets for 1.33 cents per Citi ThankYou point if you have the Citi Prestige through July 23, 2017. Or for 1.25 cents per point when you have the Citi ThankYou Premier card.
Delta flights (or nearly any other flight) is also 1.25 cents per Chase Ultimate Rewards point when you have you have the Chase Sapphire Preferred, Ink Bold, or Ink Plus.

With the AMEX Starwood personal and small business cards you’ll earn 25,000 Starwood points when you complete the minimum spending.
There aren’t many ways to earn Starwood points, which make them vary valuable. And when you transfer 20,000 Starwood points to airline partners like Delta, you’ll earn a 5,000 point bonus, for a total of 25,000 airline miles.
So Starwood points are an excellent way to get the extra points you need to book an award flight!
3. Transfer AMEX Membership Rewards Points to Delta Miles
You can also transfer AMEX Membership Rewards points to Delta.

But keep in mind, you’ll pay an excise fee of 0.06 cents per point, up to a maximum of $99.
