New card alert!

Discover has just launched the Discover it® Business Card.  And it’s very similar to the Discover it® Miles in its earning rates and features.

It’s always exciting to see banks introduce new cards to help us earn rewards!  I’ll give you a quick rundown of what to expect with the new Discover it Business Card.

This Card Is REALLY Handy for Folks With Small Businesses

The New Discover It Business Card

Similar to other Discover cards, the Discover it Business Card does NOT come with a welcome bonus.  Instead, Discover has a pretty cool introductory promotion.  Discover will match the bonus cash back you’ve earned at the end of your first year as a cardmember.

So for example, if you earn $350 cash back during your first year, Discover will give you an extra $350 at the end of your cardmember year (for a total of $700 cash back).

This card earns 1.5% cash back on on all purchases with NO caps or limits.  You can redeem your cash back in any increment.  You can choose to receive your cash as a statement credit, a bank account deposit, or a charitable donation.

The Discover it Business Card has NO annual fee, so you can keep it for free forever!

Neat Business Features

The Discover it Business Card comes with a few nice features to help small businesses.

You’ll get up to 5 free employee cards, and the ability to customize the spending limits for each.  You’ll also get itemized reports for each employee card.

It DOES look like this card counts against the “Chase 5/24 rule“.  So if you’re new to the miles & points hobby, this is NOT a good card to begin with.  Better to start with more valuable cards like the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card (our number 1 pick for newbies!).

Let us know if you apply for this new card!
