For a limited time, you’ll earn 20,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points ($200 cash back) after you spend $500 on purchases in the 1st 3 months of opening your Chase Freedom card. But you have to apply by June 24, 2015.
You also get 2,500 extra points for adding an authorized user who makes a purchase in the 1st 3 months.
Normally, the sign-up bonus on this card is 10,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points ($100 cash back). So this is double the usual offer!
And if you also have the Chase Sapphire Preferred, Chase Ink Plus, or the (no longer offered) Chase Ink Bold card, you can transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards points to airlines and hotels for Big Travel with Small Money!
This is the best offer for the card this year!
What’s the Deal?

Note: Just be sure to take a minute to activate the bonus by June 14, 2015.
You’ll earn the bonus on up to $1,500 in spending per quarter, for a maximum of 7,500 Chase Ultimate Rewards points ($75 cash back).
So you can earn an extra 30,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points per year ($300 cash back) by spending the maximum in bonus categories each quarter.
An Even Better Deal If You Have Other Cards
Folks who have the Chase Sapphire Preferred, Chase Ink Plus, or (the no longer available) Chase Ink Bold card can transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards points earned from the Chase Freedom card indirectly to airline and hotel partners.
That makes the sign-up bonus much more valuable! You can often get a greater value by transferring Chase Ultimate Rewards points to partners like Hyatt, Southwest, or United Airlines.
This is a great deal from a card that has NO annual fee!
When you have the Chase Sapphire Preferred, Ink Plus, or (no longer offered) Ink Bold, you can also use the Chase Ultimate Rewards points you earn with your Freedom card for a 20% discount in the Chase Travel portal!
Just combine your Chase Ultimate Rewards points.
And the sign-up bonus of 20,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points is then worth $250 towards airfare, hotels, and cruises, with no blackout dates. Because your Chase Ultimate Rewards points are worth 1.25 cents each when you redeem them for travel through the Chase Travel portal (20,000 points x 1.25 cents per point = $250).
Again, you only get this deal if you combine the points you earn with the Freedom card with either the Chase Sapphire Preferred, Ink Plus, or Ink Bold.
Remember, if you’ve earned the Chase Freedom sign-up bonus in the past, you could qualify for it again, as long as you don’t currently hold the card and it’s been more than 24 months since you received the bonus.
If you’ve recently applied for this card (in the last ~90 days), you could call Chase and ask them to match you to the higher offer. Usually, Chase will honor the increased bonus.
And if you’re not instantly approved when you apply, remember you can always call Chase reconsideration to ask for approval. Sometimes they’ll simply let you move credit lines from other cards.
Remember, as long as you meet the minimum spending requirement ~5 to 8 days before your billing cycle ends, the sign-up bonus should post to your account shortly after your statement closes.
For a limited time, Chase has increased the sign-up bonus on the Chase Freedom card to 20,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points ($200 cash back) after meeting minimum spending requirements.
Chase lists this offer as ending on June 24, 2015. And it’s a great deal since the Chase Freedom has NO annual fee and has 5X points (5% cash back) rotating quarterly category bonuses.
If you also have the Chase Sapphire Preferred, Chase Ink Plus, or Chase Ink Bold (no longer available) card, you can transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards points earned from the Chase Freedom card to airline and hotel partners.
And that could be worth much more than $200 in Big Travel!
