Once you enter your name and email address on the promotion page, create a new account by clicking “Sign In” on the top right-hand corner of the page. You’ll be asked to enter your name, email address, and a password.
It’s free to sign-up! Be sure to use the same email address you used on the promotion page when you create your account and make a booking.
You’ll have the option to add additional information to your online profile, like address, credit card information, and frequent flyer account numbers.
Be sure to add your frequent flyer account details to earn the 2,500 mile sign-up bonus!
This is a great bonus! And a nice little way to boost your miles and points balances each time you golf.
How Do You Book Tee Times?
You can search for tee times date, city or location, or by a specific course if you know where you want to play.
You’ll see a list of available courses. And it shows the price of a round, the maximum number of players, and the number of miles or points you could earn.
You can get further information about tee times by clicking “View all the times from this course.”
Clicking “Next” takes you to the booking page. Here you’ll enter the number of players, which program you’d like to earn miles in, your frequent flyer number, and credit card information.
Note: In this case, the number of miles you’ll earn depends on the number of golfers. I selected 2 players, which would earn 100 miles. The maximum is 4 players and 250 miles.I checked directly with the same course, Don Shula’s Golf Club, and their online prices are the same as Golfmiles. Except when you book directly, you won’t earn miles or points!
Some courses require folks to pay in advance. If that’s the case, Golfmiles will charge your credit card at the time of booking. Otherwise, you’ll pay at the course when you play your round.
Once you reserve your time, you’ll receive a confirmation email from Golfmiles. Print it and bring it to the course with you. And if you need to cancel, you can do so without penalty up to 36 hours before your tee time.
When Will You Get Your Miles?
Golfmiles says you’ll normally receive your miles within ~2 weeks of completing your booking.
Remember, to earn the 2,500 mile bonus, you’ll have to complete a booking within 60 days of signing-up through our link. You’ll receive the bonus within ~30 days of your 1st round.
While 50 to 250 miles per booking may not seem like much, folks who golf frequently could do well with this deal! And the 2,500 mile sign-up bonus is a no-brainer if you’ll be golfing anyway.
This could also be an excellent way to prevent your airline miles from expiring!
Remember, Citi Prestige cardholders can get 3 (or more) free rounds of golf per year. But you’ll have to book through Citi, and can NOT combine that deal with the Golfmiles promotion.
Bottom Line
Until August 15, 2015, Million Mile Secrets readers can earn 2,500 airline miles or points when they sign-up for Golfmiles, an online tee time booking service.
To earn the miles, register through our link, create an account, and complete a booking within 60 days of signing-up.
Plus, you’ll earn miles, points, or gift cards for every round you book and play. There are over 6,000 courses in the US available through Golfmiles. I checked a few courses and they were the same price as booking directly.
This is a free and easy way to earn extra miles (and keep your mileage balances from expiring!).
