This is my favorite no annual fee card. You never have to cancel, so it helps build a long-term relationship with Chase.
Plus, you earn 5 Chase Ultimate Rewards points per $1 spent (on up to $1,500 in spending) on rotating categories each quarter. For example, this quarter you’ll earn 5X points at gas stations and Kohl’s through September 30, 2015.
Just be sure to activate the bonus by September 14, 2015.
What Can You Do With Chase Ultimate Rewards Points?
The 20,000 points you’ll earn with the Chase Freedom card can be redeemed for $200 in cash back. Or if you have a card like the Chase Ink Bold (no longer available), Chase Ink Plus, or Chase Sapphire Preferred you can transfer your points to travel partners for Big Travel!
I like to transfer my Chase Ultimate Rewards points to United Airlines and Hyatt.Note: Because of recent changes at Chase, if you’ve opened 5+ new credit card accounts (with any bank) in the past 24 months, you will likely NOT be approved for the Chase Freedom.
