To get in on the JetBlue fare sale, book your tickets by tomorrow, August 16, 2017, by 11:59 pm Eastern Time (or local time, whichever is earlier).
The sale is valid for certain travel dates between September 6, 2017, and November 7, 2017, depending on the route.
Participating cities include:
- Charleston, South Carolina
- Chicago (ORD)
- Fort Lauderdale
- Las Vegas
- New York (JFK)
- San Diego
- Washington, DC
- and more!
And don’t forget, when JetBlue paid fares drop, award ticket prices go down, too!
For example, I found a flight from Salt Lake City to Boston for on October 16, 2017, for ~$130 or just 8,600 JetBlue points plus ~$6 in taxes and fees. That’s a good deal!
If you book a ticket with an online travel agency like Orbitz, Expedia, or Priceline you may be eligible for a refund within a short time of booking your ticket. Check out my post on cancellation policies for airlines and online travel agencies for more details.

Folks with the JetBlue Plus Card or JetBlue Business Card from Barclaycard get a free first checked bag for themselves and up to 3 companions on the same reservation when they use their card to pay for their ticket.
Here’s my review of the Barclaycard JetBlue cards. And the JetBlue Plus card has an improved sign-up bonus!
And you’ll have 24 hours to cancel a reservation if the flight is at least 7 days away. So, you can take advantage of these cheap fares and finalize plans later.
If you book a sale flight, remember there are lots of ways to get cheap or free hotel rooms with points from credit card bonuses and spending.
Remember, you can transfer flexible points like Chase Ultimate Rewards or American Express Membership Rewards to different hotel programs.
Note: If you prefer to book paid stays, check out discount sites like Orbitz, Expedia, or TravelPony for deals. But remember you won’t get stay credits or points (and might not have your elite status recognized!).
