Via Points, Miles & Martinis, JetBlue is adding new routes over the next few months, including Orlando to Atlanta and Haiti!
And in honor of National Cookie Day, you can save “dough” (cringe) with JetBlue fares sale starting at $59. Most fares are higher, but there are still plenty of good deals! You’ll need to book by December 6, 2017, for travel between December 25, 2017, and January 10, 2018.
How to Book It
JetBlue is selling airfare to select routes starting at $59 one-way. Most fares are higher, but it’s still easy to find a good deal. For example, I found one-way flights from Baltimore to Fort Lauderdale for $64. And New York to Bermuda for $99!
You must book your flight by December 6, 2017. The fare sale is valid for travel from December 25, 2017 to January 10, 2018.
Folks with the JetBlue Plus Card from Barclaycard or JetBlue Business Card from Barclaycard get a free first checked bag for the cardholder and up to 3 companions on the same reservation when you use your card to pay for your ticket.
Remember, you have 24 hours to cancel a reservation if the flight is at least 7 days away. So, you can take advantage of these extremely cheap fares and finalize plans later.
In addition to this sale, JetBlue has announced 6 new routes! Over the next few months, JetBlue will add:
- Orlando to Port-au-Prince, Haiti starting on December 14, 2017
- Boston to Syracuse starting on January 4, 2018
- New York to Atlanta starting on March 8, 2018
- Orlando to Atlanta starting on March 8, 2018
- Fort Lauderdale to Atlanta starting on March 8, 2018
- Boston to Minneapolis-St. Paul starting on May 3, 2018
I love when airlines give us more options for redeeming our miles & points!
If you book a sale flight, remember there are lots of ways to get cheap or free hotel rooms with points from credit card bonuses and spending.
Remember, you can transfer flexible points like Chase Ultimate Rewards or American Express Membership Rewards to different hotel programs.
Note: If you prefer to book paid stays, check out discount sites like Orbitz, Expedia, or TravelPony for deals. But remember you won’t get stay credits or points (and might not have your elite status recognized!).
Airbnb is another terrific way to save money on accommodations, especially for longer stays. Here are some tips on how to negotiate a better Airbnb price, and how to find a safe and comfortable Airbnb.
