Update:   This offer is no longer available, but check the Hot Deals for the latest offers!

Update:   The Chase Ink Bold card is no longer available for new sign-ups.

If you’ve considered applying for the Chase Ink cards 60,000 point sign-up offer, you’ll need to decide soon.

Chase has let us know this offer will definitely end on June 1, 2014.

I speculated that the deal might end at the end of the month, but now we know for sure!  That’s because the banner ads for the Ink cards now show that the offer ends on June 1, 2014.

Emily and I both have the Chase Ink Plus and Chase Ink Bold.  They’re some of our favorite cards!

The sign-up bonus on both cards increased to 60,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points – from 50,000 points –  earlier this month.  With these cards, you get:

60,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards Points Could Get You to Maui!

The sign-up bonus for the Ink Bold once was $10,000 in the 1st 3 months, so the special offer for 60,000 points after spending $5,000 within the 1st 3 months is a good deal.

The 60,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points can also be used for at least $600 in cash back and $750 towards travel through the Chase Ultimate Rewards portal.

The Ink cards come with lots of extra perks and benefits, too, including Lounge Club membership and Jot for expense management.

The Chase Ink cards used to be issued as MasterCards, but are now issued as Visa cards.  Folks are reporting that the Visa cards are considered different products and it may be possible to get the Visa version of the Ink cards as well.  The Visa versions get you additional discounts in the Visa Savings Edge program.

If you’re still thinking about applying for these cards, I wouldn’t leave it until June 1, 2014.  Sometimes banks take offers down early!  But check the bank’s website if you can’t find the offer listed on the Hot Deals tab on Million Mile Secrets.

Bottom Line

The 60,000 point Chase Ink sign-up offer will end on June 1, 2014.

This is a good deal because the offer is normally 50,000 points after meeting minimum spending.  And you can do a lot of Big Travel with Small Money with 60,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points!

Emily and I already have these cards.

At the end of the application it ask if you want additional cards for employees….do they get their own account and thus the 60,000 bonus offer as well…or do they need to apply separately to get the bonus?

Can you get all three from chase…Ink Plus, Ink Bold and Ink Cash?

If I got the Ink Plus and Ink Bold 2 years ago…can I reapply and get approved for the current 60,000?

Million Mile Secrets

@Jon – This happens to many folks. You shouldn’t carry a balance on miles and points cards because they have a higher interest charge.

@Alex L – I wouldn’t lie.

@bob – You you can get all three, but not at the same time. If your employees want the bonus, they should apply on their own!

I applied for the Chase Bold and was declined because my business is 7 months and small revenue. I sell used children toys online. Should I apply for the Ink Plus or wait? I called twice and spoke with 2 representative. Both said the issue is that my business is young and not a lot revenue. Should I just lie and apply again?

When I apply for a Chase card, they call me and tell me that to be approved I have to reduce my credit line on other cards.

I don’t remember what my total is for all cards but my credit score is good and my overall utilization is pretty low.

Does this happen to other people? I have a balance on one card – could that be affecting things?
