Disneyland, located in Anaheim, California, will be getting its first taste of alcohol at the upcoming  Star Wars themed bar, Oga’s Cantina.  Oga’s Cantina will be part of the larger Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge attractions, which is scheduled to open in late 2019 in both Disney World and Disneyland.  You’ll be able to fly a Millennium Falcon, board a Star Destroyer, and journey to Batuu.  Being a Star Wars fan, I’m very excited about this new addition.

Next Year, You’ll Be Able to Order Drinks at Oga’s Cantina in Disneyland

Alcohol is long overdue at Disneyland, and in my opinion, should be served at every restaurant.  Euro Disney added alcohol to their restaurants back in 1993.  Many people, including myself, love the taste of wine and beer, and want to enjoy a refreshing glass of white wine on a warm summer day.  And I think it’s important to teach children, even young children, how to drink responsibly.  Having wine or beer with a meal is a huge part of that.  I hope that Disney sees the importance of including responsible alcohol consumption throughout all of their restaurants at their parks.

Bottom Line

For the first time at Disneyland, you can buy alcohol when the new Oga’s Cantina opens, which is scheduled for late 2019.  Oga’s Cantina will be part of the larger Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge attractions.  You’ll be able to fly a Millennium Falcon, board a Star Destroyer, and journey to Batuu.  You can use credit card rewards points to help you get there for a fraction of the cost.  Have you traveled to Disneyland or Disney World using points?  Share your experience with us in the comments below!
