You can now book discounted IHG PointBreaks hotels for stays through October 31, 2017. Award nights cost just 5,000 IHG points, which is a fantastic deal!
For example, you could book an award stay at the Crowne Plaza Johannesburg – The Rosebank in Johannesburg, South Africa. Rooms here normally cost 20,000 IHG points per night.
There’s a limit of 2 stays per participating location. And the best hotels usually sell out fast.

Using the IHG Points & Cash trick, you can “buy” 5,000 IHG points for ~$30. That’s an amazing deal for an award night at just about any hotel on the list.
And if you have the Chase IHG card, you’ll get a 10% rebate on redeemed points, up to a maximum rebate of 100,000 IHG points per year. So folks with the card will effectively pay 4,500 IHG points per night for a PointBreaks hotel (5,000 IHG points – 500 point rebate).
