How Much Does It Cost to Attend?
Link: Tickets ($95) for Chicago Seminars – October 2014 in Elk Grove Village, IL
Link: Holiday Inn & Suites Chicago O’Hare Rosemont (~$89 per night to ~$102 per night)
The tickets cost $95 per person and includes a buffet lunch Saturday & Sunday, coffee, and snack breaks.
The seminars will be held at the Holiday Inn Chicago – Elk Grove. Unfortunately, the rooms at this hotel are already sold out.
The overflow hotel is the Holiday Inn & Suites Chicago O’Hare Rosemont. It is located ~10 minutes away from the Elk Grove Holiday Inn, and there will be busses between the 2 hotels. You can book your room using 1 of 2 group codes.
For a room with breakfast included use code “CBY”
- A room with a King bed costs ~$99 per night
- A room with 2 Queen beds costs ~$102 per night
Code “CBN” for a room without breakfast:
- A room with a King bed costs ~$94 per night
- A room with 2 Queen beds costs ~$89 per night
You can also make your reservation by calling Holiday Inn at 1-888-551-3853 and mentioning you are with the “Chicago Seminars” or using the group codes.

However, you could save some money by staying at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare which costs ~$69 per night plus tax on TravelPony and is ~12 minutes away. Or you could book the Hilton Chicago O’Hare, which is also currently ~$69 per night plus tax on TravelPony and ~15 minutes away.
But you’d need a car to get to and form those airports, so the savings could cancel out.
And if you use my TravelPony link, you will get a $35 credit on your next booking and I’ll get a $25 credit.

Take a look at the full schedule to see what interests you. Million Mile Secrets is helping to sponsor this event and presenting a Beginners seminar with Mommy Points on Saturday, October 18, 2014.

The seminars are mainly geared towards teaching beginners how to use miles & points for free travel. So if you are new to this hobby, attending the Chicago Seminars is a great way to learn how to get started.
Even if you have been in the miles & points hobby for a while, you still may learn a new trick or two. And the most rewarding part of attending this event is making connections with other folks who share your hobby!
