Hyatt Promotion: Earn Bonus Points & a Free Night for Stays at These New Hyatt Hotels

Last year, Hyatt acquired Two Roads Hospitality, which will eventually add 60+ hotels to Hyatt. And starting tomorrow (March 28, 2019), you’ll be able to earn and redeem Hyatt points at 8 Thompson Hotels properties with more brands to be added “soon.”

And with this announcement, Hyatt is running a promotion to earn bonus points and a free night for stays at the new brands. I’ll share the details on that promotion. And to stay on top of other hotel promotions and deals, subscribe to our newsletter.

Now you can use Hyatt points to stay at the Thompson when visiting Toronto

Hyatt Two Roads Promotions

In order to earn points or elite night credits at Thompson hotels, you’ll need to book directly with Hyatt or Thompson. These are the 8 hotels that have been added to Hyatt’s loyalty program:

Gild Hall, New York City (Category 4)
The Beekman, New York City (Category 6)
The Cape, Cabo San Lucas, Mexico (Category 6)
Thompson Chicago (Category 4)
Thompson Nashville (Category 6)
Thompson Seattle (Category 5)
Thompson Toronto (Category 6)
Thompson Zihuatanejo (Category 6)

In addition to Thompson Hotels, Hyatt will also eventually be adding the following brands:

Joie de Vivre Hotels (for stays starting May 15, 2019)
Alila Hotels (coming soon)
Destination Hotels (coming soon)

Along with this announcement, Hyatt is incentivizing visits to their new hotels with a couple of promotions. You can earn 2,000 bonus Hyatt points with your first qualifying stay at each of the new brands, including Thompson Hotels.

And you’ll also have the opportunity to earn a free night certificate once you complete one stay with each of the 4 brands. The free night is valid at Category 1 to 4 hotels and is almost the same as the free nights you can earn with The World Of Hyatt Credit Card. One important difference is that the free night certificate earned with this promotion will expire 180 days after it’s issued.
