HOT Business Class DC To Beijing For 450 Won't Last
Fly American Airlines to Beijing in Business Class for Only ~$450 Round-Trip!

This price is available from March 18, 2015, to June 1, 2015, or September 1, 2015, to September 3, 2015.  You can find this fare using tools like ITA Matrix or Google Flights.

Book using the American Airlines website.

One Mile at a Time shows fares as low as ~$450.  I found this price for travel from $442.

This is likely a mistake fare!  So do NOT book anything like hotels or activities that are not nonrefundable!

How To Book It

Link:   Google Flights

Link:   ITA Matrix

I went to Google Flights and search for flights from Washington, DC (DCA) to Beijing, China (PEK).  I found flights available on various dates including May 18, 2015, to May 30, 2015.   These flights include a stop in Dallas (DFW) or Chicago (ORD).

However, when I tried to click through to American Airlines it said the flights weren’t available.

So I searched the same dates I found on the American Airlines site and was able to book!

Book Quick, but…

You should book this quickly.  Low fares don’t last long.  Read my post about booking mistake and low fares!

But, do NOT book non-refundable hotel or other travel plans until you receive a confirmation WITH an e-ticket number.  And remember:  DO NOT call the airline!

What If You’re Not in These Cities?

You could fly cheaply to Washington, DC, by using points (like British Airways Avios) to get there.  British Airways Avios are great for short-haul flights because it’s only 4,500 points 1-way for flights less than 649 miles, and 7,500 points for flights up to 1,149 miles.

Or if you have the Southwest Companion Pass, you could fly to these destinations very cheaply.  That’s because with the Companion Pass, your companion flies with you for almost free on both paid and award tickets.

You might also try finding a cheap paid ticket (but do the math 1st to see if it’s worth it!

Which Card to Use?

If you book a fare, be sure to use a card that earns bonus points for travel or airfare:
