If you used an airport kiosk for a debit or credit card transaction with Spirit Airlines between August 29, 2012, and October 28, 2015, you’re eligible to participate in a class action lawsuit against the airline.  You must submit your claim by June 20, 2016.

Spirit Airlines recently reached a $7,500,000 settlement in a class action lawsuit claiming they had violated the Fair and Accurate Credit Transaction Act (FACTA).  Because they printed more than the last 5 digits of customers’ credit & debit cards on their receipts.

How Much Will You Get?

The amount you’ll receive depends on the number of claims made.   But payment estimates are ~$265 to a maximum of $1,000 per claim.

And while you don’t need to submit proof along with your claim, they’ll be verifying your information with Spirit Airlines and the claims administrator.  So don’t make a claim unless you meet the eligibility requirements!
