We don’t get a commission for these cards, but Emily and I always tell you about the best deals!
I’ll show you how to get free admission this weekend to places like the Chicago History Museum, or the Dayton Art Institute.
Free Museums February 2017

Link: List of Participating Museums
The Museums on Us program is designed to increase popularity for art, culture, and science by giving folks free access to participating museums and cultural centers around the US. You just need a Bank of America or Merrill Lynch debit or credit card!
Qualifying cards include:
- Bank of America Alaska Airlines (Personal)
- Bank of America Alaska Airlines (Business)
- Bank of America Virgin Atlantic
Bring your card with you to the museum and present it at the door, along with a photo ID. And you’re in!
Free entry is only good for the primary cardholder. So if you bring along friends or family, they’ll need their own qualifying card to get in free.
Note: “Free admission” does not necessarily mean you’ll have access to the entire facility. Some museums, zoos, etc. charge additional fees for special exhibits. It’s worth researching before you go, so you won’t be disappointed! This is a nice deal for folks who are looking for ways to save on entertainment this weekend. If you’re in Denver, you could check out the Denver Zoo. Or if you’re in Sacramento, stop by the Crocker Art Museum.

On the first full weekend of each month, Bank of America and Merrill Lynch cardholders can get free entry to museums, zoos, and cultural centers nationwide! Just show your qualifying card and photo ID at the door.
There may be certain exhibits and areas you won’t have access to unless you pay. So research a bit before you go!
