    Time’s almost up!  If you have the Chase Freedom, Discover it® Cash Back, or (no longer offered) Citi Dividend card, there are only a few more days to earn 5% cash back in this quarter’s bonus categories.

    Each quarter, folks with the Chase Freedom card must activate the bonus to earn 5X Chase Ultimate Rewards points (5% cash back) in rotating categories.

    If you activated your bonus by March 14, 2016, you can earn 5X Chase Ultimate Rewards points on up to $1,500 in spending at gas stations and on commuter transportation (including taxis, subways, local commuter buses, and trains) through March 31, 2016. 

    I’ve kept my Chase Freedom card for years because you can easily earn lots of Chase Ultimate Rewards points or cash back for purchases you need to make anyway!

    And, if you have the Chase Sapphire Preferred, Ink Bold (no longer available), or the Chase Ink Plus, you can transfer your Chase Ultimate Rewards points to airline and hotel partners like United Airlines and Hyatt for Big Travel!

    2.   Discover it® Cash Back

    This quarter, folks with the Discover it Cash Back card can earn 5% cash back on up to $1,500 in spending at gas stations and on ground transportation (which includes commuter trains and buses, taxis, Uber, rental cars, and more), when you activate the bonus through March 31, 2016.

    Better yet, new Discover it Cash Back cardholders (or folks who previously registered) can have their cash back doubled at the end of their 1st 12 billing cycles.  So you can effectively earn 10% cash back on rotating bonus categories!  That’s a great deal, so be sure to activate your bonus!

    3.   Citi Dividend

    The Citi Dividend card is no longer open to new applicants.  But if you’re an existing cardholder, you can earn 5% cash back at Home Depot and home furnishing stores through March 31, 2016.

    Keep in mind you can only earn a total of $300 cash back each year.  So whether you make the most of 1 category or spread your spending throughout the year is your choice.

    If you have any of these cards, they’re an easy way to be rewarded for purchases you’re likely to make anyway.  So don’t leave money on the table!
