Step 2 – Choose Your Settlement Benefit

Decide whether you want to receive $10 or ~$15 worth of free Red Bull.

Free Red Bull or Free Cash! Which Will You Choose?

I will choose the cash every time!  That’s because I could use that $10 to pay for lunch at the airport or Wi-Fi on the plane.

And because, as it turns out, this settlement is to compensate customers for not receiving the athletic and health benefits claimed by Red Bull’s advertising.  So I’ll take the $10 and stick to tea! 😉

But do what works best for you!

Note:  The terms say that you could receive less or more than the value listed, depending upon how many claims are received.

Step 3 – Certify That You’re Eligible

Add your electronic signature confirming that you have purchased a Red Bull and are eligible to receive a payout.

You will then receive a confirmation page with your claim number.

When Will You Receive Your Payment?

The court will hold a hearing on May 1, 2015, to determine if the settlement is approved.  Then there could still be appeals.  Finally, payments will be mailed out within 150 days after the court’s approval.

So don’t expect to see your payment anytime soon!

That said, it only takes a minute of your time to complete the form and it’s free money!

Bottom Line

As part of a settlement in a class action lawsuit against Red Bull, you could receive $10!  To be eligible you must have purchased a Red Bull between January 1, 2002, and October 3, 2014.

The amount you receive could be more or less depending on how many claims are received.  And you may not see your check for a long time.

However, this is free money and it takes less than a minute to complete the form!

Never had one as I value my health.

I would be cautious in submitting a claim for this settlement. Short term you might get 10 bucks, but long term do you really want to chance this coming up at a larger claim settlement in the future?

Looks like website is down. I was able to get through this morning

please correct the application link
