JetBlue has dozens of routes on sale for travel between December 9, 2015, and February 29, 2016.

There are blackout dates between December 17, 2015, and January 6, 2016 (Christmas and New Year), January 18, 2016, (Martin Luther King, Jr. Day), and February 13, 2016, to February 20, 2016 (Valentine’s Day)

Lots of Seats Are Available, Even For the $39 Routes Like Charleston to Fort Lauderdale!

That said, I didn’t have trouble finding seats.  In the example above, there are fares as high as $344 between Charleston and Fort Lauderdale.  So $39 is an outstanding deal to save a lot of money!

Remember, you must book by today, December 2, 2015, by 11:59 pm Eastern (or local) time, whichever is earliest for you.

Here are some other 1-way deals I found interesting!  Fly between:

  • Boston and Washington, DC – $54
  • Buffalo and New York City – $59
  • Houston and Boston – $59
  • San Francisco and Las Vegas – $59
  • San Juan and St. Maarten – $59

Do Some Island Hopping! San Juan to St. Maarten Is Included in the Sale for $59 Each Way!

I don’t fly JetBlue, but I have friends who are loyal flyers because of their extra legroom, complimentary in-flight Wi-Fi, and free snacks, including Doritos.  😉

Remember, JetBlue recently started charging for your 1st checked bag on their lowest fares.  Read my post about why it might make sense to pay a slightly higher fare!

If You Have Lots of JetBlue Points, You’ll Pay Fewer Points for Your Award Ticket With This Sale

And don’t forget, if you don’t collect JetBlue points, you can now credit your paid flight to Singapore Airlines instead.

If you already have JetBlue points, consider using them to book cheaper award flights now.  That’s because the price of a JetBlue award flight depends on the cost of a paid ticket!

Pay With the Right Card!

Remember to use a card that will earn you bonus points:

If you book a cheap flight, remember there are lots of ways to get cheap or free hotel rooms with points from credit card bonuses and spending!

To find hotels that can be booked with points, I use Hotel Hustle (which even shows you if rooms are actually available!) or AwardMapper.

Remember, you can transfer flexible points like Chase Ultimate Rewards or American Express Membership Rewards to different hotel programs.

@escot – A friend of mine loves JetBlue for that same reason!

It seems that if you want to change your award ticket, you’ll have to pay any change fees:

Hope that helps. And thanks for the tip about the extra day on these fares!

Deals have been extended one day, through today (Dec. 3rd)

Puzzled this post didn’t get any comments…. JetBlue remains the most comfortable among coach seats anywhere. (much better than the pack-em in, 3×3 Southwest or Frontier cattle cars)

I AM annoyed a bit at the premium I had to fork over last night to get AMEX points over to Jet Blue. (now 5 to 4 ratio — loud JEERS to Amex)

ps, anybody have any experience with JetBlue if the reward rate for a flight goes down after you book a ticket on points? (with southwest, tis “no problem” — you just make the change — to the lower rate — and no fees)
