If the Southwest Companion Pass has been on your wish list, here’s some great news!

Via Doctor of Credit, all 3 Chase Southwest cards are again offering 60,000 Southwest points after meeting minimum spending requirements.

Previously, the sign-up bonus for the Chase Southwest Plus and Chase Southwest Premier was only 40,000 Southwest points.  So this is a much better deal.

And because the increased 60,000 Southwest point bonus on the Chase Southwest Premier small business card is still available, it’s a great time to earn the Southwest Companion Pass!  By applying for just 2 cards, you’ll earn more than enough points to qualify!

We don’t earn a commission on all of these cards.  But we’ll always tell you about the best deals.

Emily and I consider the Southwest Companion Pass to be the best deal in travel.  Because it can easily save you thousands of dollars, depending on how often you travel.  But you’ll need to earn 110,000 qualifying Southwest points in a calendar year to earn it.

The good news is, that’s easy to do with these improved Chase Southwest credit card offers!

You’ll now earn 60,000 Southwest points after spending $2,000 on purchases in the first 3 months of opening either the Chase Southwest Plus or Chase Southwest Premier.

And with the Chase Southwest Premier Small Business Cardyou’ll earn 60,000 Southwest points after spending $3,000 on purchases in the first 3 months of account opening.

These improved offers on the Chase Southwest cards make it easy to earn the Southwest Companion Pass by applying for just 2 cards!  If you apply for 1 personal card and 1 small business card, you’ll have more than enough points to qualify.

However, I typically recommend folks earn the Companion Pass as early in the year as possible.  Because the it’s valid through the last day in the following year in which it’s earned.  So earning the pass early in the year means you can take advantage of the BEST deal in travel for nearly two full years!

We’ve seen these increased offers several times in the past.  So it could be worth waiting to see if these offers will pop up again a few months from now. 😉

Note:   If you’ve opened 5+ cards from any bank (NOT counting Chase business cards and these other business cards) in the past 24 months, it’s unlikely you’ll be approved for these Southwest cards.

Bottom Line

For a limited time, the Chase Southwest Plus and Chase Southwest Premier come with 60,000 Southwest points after spending $2,000 in 3 months of account opening!  This matches the increased 60,000 Southwest point bonus on the Chase Southwest Premier small business card.

You’ll earn more than enough points to qualify for the Southwest Companion Pass when you open 1 personal card and 1 small business card.  And Emily and I consider the Companion Pass to be the best deal in travel!

We don’t earn a thing for a few of these offers.  But we’re committed to telling you about the best deals!
