I was in the market for a new carry-on bag, and I wanted one where I could safely store and access my laptop on the go.  I frequently travel thanks to my credit card rewards points and my suitcases get a lot of wear and tear because of it.  I’m a big fan of TravelPro because their suitcases have lasted me years.

If you are in the market for new luggage, consider getting the TravelPro Platinum Elite 20″ Expandable Business Plus carry-on.  And if you currently purchase it through the Chase Ultimate Rewards shopping portal, you can get up to 8.5X points per $1.  Points can add up faster than you think.  For example, I recently purchased a stroller and earned half the Chase points needed for a one-way flight!

I’m Sharing My Review of the TravelPro Platinum Elite

I tested 3 different suitcases, and ended up choosing the TravelPro Platinum Elite 20″ Expandable Business Plus carry-on.  With the Platinum Elite, it sounds like I should get airline & hotel status somewhere! 😉  Of the 3 suitcases I tested, the TravelPro Platinum Elite 20″ was the only one that had a laptop section on the side of the suitcase.

My Review of the TravelPro Platinum Elite 20″

Here’s my video review of the TravelPro Platinum Elite 20″ Expandable Business Plus Carry-on.  We receive no compensation from Travelpro for this review.  We just like to travel and make traveling easier!  🙂

How to Double Dip Chase Ultimate Rewards Points by Shopping Through the Chase Ultimate Rewards Portal and Get 8.5X Points for Your Purchase!

You can earn up to 8.5X points per $1 by shopping through eBags via the Chase Ultimate Rewards shopping portal.  eBags is offering 7X points per $1 spent.  I used my Chase Freedom Unlimited credit card for an added 1.5X points per $1, for a total of 8.5X points!

When I have a big purchase to make, I always check to see how many extra points I get per dollar through the Chase Ultimate Rewards shopping portal.  I’ve racked up thousands of points this way, but be sure to price check with other sites to make sure it makes sense (sometimes you’ll find lower prices elsewhere).

Note:  It’s always worth checking sites like Cashbackmonitor and Evreward to see if other portals have higher earning rates for the store you’re shopping at.
