Register between September 1, 2016, and December 15, 2016, for Marriott’s new MegaBonus Promotion, and earn up to 50,000 bonus Marriott points on stays between September 15, 2016, and January 15, 2017.When you register, you can choose between 2 different bonuses:
- 5,000 Marriott points after your 2nd paid stay
- 10,000 Marriott points after every 10 paid nights, up to 50,000 bonus Marriott points
So, if you don’t think you’ll have at least 10 paid nights at Marriott through the end of the promotion (January 15, 2017), you should sign-up to earn the 5,000 Marriott points bonus.
If you travel a lot and have 10+ paid nights planned over the winter, you’d earn more bonus Marriott points with the 2nd option.
Even if you don’t have any Marriott stays planned, it’s worth signing-up. Because it only takes a few minutes and you never know when a travel opportunity might come up! 😉
The bonus points should show in your account within 3 to 5 days after the qualifying stay.

With the Chase Marriott Rewards Premier personal or small business card, you can earn 80,000 Marriott points after completing minimum spending requirements.
If you get the personal version of the card, you can earn another 7,500 bonus Marriott points when you add an authorized user and make a purchase within the first 3 months of opening your account. The $85 annual fee is NOT waived for the first year.
The $99 annual fee on the small business version of the card is also NOT waived for the first year. Here’s my review of the offer.
Anyone with a Chase Sapphire Reserve, Sapphire Preferred, Ink Plus (no longer available), or Ink Bold (no longer available) can transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards points to Marriott at a 1:1 ratio. Although they’re NOT my favorite transfer partner, it’s useful if you’re just short of the award stay you want.
