Via View From the Wing, 20 Club Carlson hotels are changing categories as of tomorrow, March 1, 2017.
That’s not much notice from Club Carlson! So it’s worth checking to see if a hotel you were planning on booking will soon cost more points. Because if so, you need to book it by tonight!
Let’s take a look at which Club Carlson hotels are changing categories.
Club Carlson Hotel Category Changes
The latest Club Carlson category changes will go into affect tomorrow, March 1, 2017.
I’m not happy this news is so last minute! But folks should look over the list to see if a hotel you were planning on booking is going up in category. Because you need to book it by tonight to save points!
That said, most of the hotels on the list are off the beaten path. So it’s unlikely these changes will affect most peoples’ travel plans. 😉
Here’s a list of the 2017 Club Carlson hotel category changes:
The hotels in the US and Asia are going up. And for the most part, the hotels in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa are moving to lower categories.
Like the highly rated Radisson Blu Hotel, Istanbul Pera, that’s moving from a Category 7 hotel to a Category 5. So it will cost 44,000 Club Carlson points instead of 70,000 Club Carlson points per night after March 1, 2017.
Earning & Using Club Carlson Points
