Cheap Flights to Europe — East Coast From $237 Round-Trip And Nationwide From the $300s

    INSIDER SECRET: When you pay for airfare with points, you can earn frequent flyer miles on your free flight.

    If you’re interested in avoiding the crowds on your next European adventure, you’re in luck. Right now there are all sorts of cheap flights to Europe from the late summer into the fall. I found flights as cheap as $237 round-trip from New York to Madrid, but even flights from the Midwest and West Coast are available in the $300s and $400s.

    Even with a checked bag there are still incredibly cheap flights to Europe this fall.

    Cheap Flights to Europe

    Most of these flight are with Air Canada, Air France and KLM, but there are some deals with American Airlines, Air Europa and Norwegian Air. The vast majority of the cheapest prices listed below are for basic economy or “light” fares, so you’ll have to pay for things like checked bags or seat selection.

    If you happen to have the Chase Sapphire Reserve card, you can use your Chase Ultimate Rewards points to book travel through the Chase travel portal at a rate of 1.5 cents per point. At that rate, you’d only need 15,877 to 31,000 Chase points to pay for these round-trip flights. Those kind of points prices usually would be good deals for just a one-way flight.
