We don’t earn a commission for this offer, but Emily and I will always tell you about the best deals!

You’ll also get a $50 statement credit after your first purchase.

Other perks include:

Is It Worth It?

This deal is better than the current offer that does NOT include the $50 statement credit.  But this isn’t the best offer we’ve seen.

Most recently, you could earn 50,000 United Airlines miles with the United MileagePlus Explorer card after meeting minimum spending requirements.  And we’ve seen targeted offers for 75,000 United Airlines miles plus a $50 statement credit.

So it’s probably worth waiting for a better offer, unless you were already considering applying for the card soon.

And if you’re new to miles and points, there are more valuable cards you should consider first, like the Chase Sapphire Reserve or Citi Prestige Card.  Because of Chase’s stricter approval rules.

Be sure to check out my series on how to earn and use United Airlines miles too!

Bottom Line

If you make a test booking on the United Airlines site, you’ll see a better offer for the Chase United MileagePlus Explorer card.

With this offer, you can earn 30,000 United Airlines miles after completing minimum spending requirements.  And get a $50 statement credit after your first purchase.

But for most folks, it’s probably worth waiting for a better deal.  Because we’ve seen public offers as high as 50,000 United Airlines miles and targeted offers for 75,000 United Airlines miles!

Emily and I don’t earn anything from this offer, but we’ll always share the best deals with our readers!
