Folks are receiving a mailer from Chase with an offer for 50,000 United Airlines miles after meeting minimum spending requirements on the Chase United MileagePlus Explorer card.
Normally, the sign-up bonus is 30,000 United Airlines miles after meeting minimum spending. So this is a better deal.
And you do NOT have to receive a mailer to check if you’re eligible for the targeted offer.
Emily and I don’t earn a commission for this card, but we’ll always share the best offers with our readers!
I’ll explain how to find the offer and whether you should consider the card.

To see if you qualify for the improved offer, go to this link and enter your United Airlines frequent flyer number and password.
If you’re targeted, you’ll earn 50,000 United Airlines miles after you spend $2,000 on purchases in the first 3 months of opening your account.
And another 5,000 United Airlines miles when you add an authorized user and make a purchase in the first 3 months of opening your account.
You’ll also get:
- 2 United Airlines miles per $1 you spend on United Airlines
- 1 United Airlines mile per $1 you spend on all other purchases
- 10,000 bonus miles when you spend $25,000 on your card each year
- 2 United Club passes per year
- First checked bag free when you use your card to pay for your ticket
- Priority boarding
- Access to more United Airlines award seats
The card doesn’t add foreign transaction fees, so it’s a good card to use abroad.
Is This a Good Deal?
This is a better deal than the regular 30,000 mile offer. But there have been targeted offers as high as 75,000 miles in the past. And public offers which include a $50 statement credit.
Remember, this card falls under Chase’s tougher application rules. If you’ve opened ~5 or more credit cards (from any bank) in the past 24 months, (excluding certain business cards) it will be difficult to be approved for most Chase cards.
And if you’re new to miles and points, there are more valuable Chase cards you should consider first, like the Chase Sapphire Reserve or Chase Sapphire Preferred.

There’s a new targeted offer to earn 50,000 United Airlines miles after meeting minimum spending requirements with the Chase United MileagePlus Explorer card.
This is a better deal than the regular 30,000 mile sign-up bonus. But it’s not the highest offer I’ve ever seen for the card.
We don’t earn a cent from this offer, but we’ll always tell you about the best deals!
