Once you’ve decided to jump into the world of miles & points, keeping things organized can be difficult, especially if you’re managing more than one of the best credit cards for travel.

Even if you’re just starting off and working toward earning your first big sign-up bonus, you’ll need to track your progress toward meeting the minimum spending requirements.  You most definitely DON’T want to apply for a card and miss out on earning the intro offer.

The good news is, Chase has made tracking your progress toward meeting minimum spending requirements incredibly easy with certain cards, like the Chase Sapphire Preferred Card.   I’ll explain how.

Chase Minimum Spending Requirement Tracker

Chase recently added a sign-up bonus tracker to both the Chase app and Chase Ultimate Rewards website.  With the tracker, you can easily see your progress toward meeting a card’s spending requirement and the date by which you need to complete the requirement.

I think this is an incredibly useful tool because everything’s right there in one spot – you don’t have to reference your statements or call in to confirm how long you have to fulfill your card’s minimum spending requirement.

From what we can tell this feature is only available to personal and business Chase Ultimate Rewards points earning cards.  But it sure would be nice if it were rolled out to all of Chase’s cards in the future!

I suspect this could have something to do with the fact that many other Chase cards are co-branded.  But who really knows.  All we can do is keep our fingers crossed!
