Emily and I love to use our Chase Freedom card for regular purchases. That’s because we earn Chase Ultimate Rewards points which are very flexible when it comes to getting Big Travel with Big Money. We especially like using the Freedom card when it earns us 5X points!
And now, via PointsCentric, Chase has made it very easy to check that you’ve been awarded all your points!
Here’s how easy it is see your points.
How to See Your Chase Freedom Points for Each Purchase

Link: My review of the Chase Freedom card
Step 1 – Log Into Your Chase Account
Log into your Chase account.
Step 2 – Click on “See Activity”
Click “See Activity” to bring up your Chase Freedom card transactions.
Step 3 – Click The Box Next To Each Transaction
Click the “+“ sign in the blue box next to each transaction.
Step 4 – View Your Points
You’ll see how many points you’ve earned for each purchase.
I used my Chase Freedom card to pay the bill at Thai Spice Cafe because during that quarter, the Freedom card earned 5X points at restaurants.
Chase shows the points as the 1 point you earn on every purchase + 4X more points for the category bonus, which included restaurants that quarter. I earned even more points because I have a Chase checking account.
Now I can use those ~92 Chase Ultimate Rewards points to
- Get 92 cents cash back
- Collect 25,000 points to get a flight up to $335 using the Chase Freedom airline booking trick
- Transfer to partner airlines & hotels for Big Travel (but only because I have 1 of these cards: Chase Sapphire Preferred, (no longer offered) Chase Ink Bold, or Chase Ink Plus)
I’m going to choose the last option!
Bottom Line
Chase now makes it very easy to see how many Chase Ultimate Rewards points you’ve earned per transaction with your Chase Freedom card.
If you don’t see your points, you can call Chase to let them know.
