I love to travel, and didn’t want to stop traveling after having my baby.  Recently, I shared why the BabyZen Yoyo+ is my favorite travel stroller.  Today, I’m sharing how you can earn at least 3,000 valuable Chase Ultimate Rewards points for buying it.  That’s half the points you’d need for a 1-way flight to certain destinations or over half the points required for a free hotel room at select Hyatt hotels.

Chase Points Got Me a Trip to San Diego for Two, For Just ~$22

Chase points quickly add up, and I can easily book travel through their travel portal, transfer them to hotels like Hyatt, and even book flights on Southwest Airlines and United Airlines.  I found 1-way flights to San Diego from Austin for just ~6,000 points, and I recently earned ~3,000 from buying a stroller I needed anyway.  Category 1 Hyatt hotels cost just 5,000 points.

Here’s How You Can Earn Lots of Chase Ultimate Rewards Points For Buying a Stroller

Step 1.   Log onto your Chase account, and click on “Ultimate Rewards”.

If you don’t have a Chase account, I recommend starting with the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card.  It’s our #1 card for beginners because it’s so easy to use.   You can earn 50,000 bonus points after you spend $4,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening.  That’s $625 in travel when you redeem through Chase Ultimate Rewards®.

Scroll Down Below Your Credit Card Accounts and Click on the “Ultimate Rewards” Tab

Step 2.  Go to the Babyzen website’s list of online retailers.

BabyZen sells their strollers through many different retailers, which increases the probability you’ll get lots of points!

There Are a Lot of BabyZen Retailers

Step 3.   In the Chase Ultimate Rewards portal, sort by “Earn Rate.”

Now that we know BabyZen sells their strollers through Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, and Bloomingdale’s, to name a few, we can then go back to the Chase Ultimate Rewards portal to find the retailer currently offering the highest number of points per dollar.  The number of points changes at various times for different retailers, so a retailer that is offering 6x/points today, may only offer 2x/points tomorrow!

Sort By the “Earn Rate”

Step 4. Find the retailer offering the highest number of points per dollar spent.

I found Neiman Marcus to offer the highest number of points per dollar spent, at 6X points.  If you pay with another points-earning credit card, you can stack points.  I love using my Chase Freedom Unlimited® for purchases like this, so I can earn another 1.5 points per dollar spent!

Step 5. Click on the retailer, and make your purchase.

In this case, I will select Neiman Marcus, make my stroller selection, and then check out!  The points should hit your account by your next billing cycle.

Knowing I’ll Get Thousands of Points Takes the Sting Out of This High Price Tag

Bottom Line

When I want to buy something new for my baby, I always search to see if I can earn points doing so through Chase’s shopping portal.  The points add up fast, and I can easily transfer those points to their travel partners to get free flights and hotel rooms.  For instance, I found 1-way flights to San Diego from Austin for just ~6,000 points, and I recently earned ~3,000 points from buying a stroller I needed anyway!

Hi Emily. If you buy a gift card from the United mileage plus x app before shopping using the chase portal, can you use that to pay or does the payment method have to be a chase card?
