What’s the US Bank Cash+ Card
Link: US Bank Cash+ $100 Sign-Up Bonus (EXPIRED)
You can now get $100 cash back when you sign-up for the US Bank Cash+ Card. Just spend $500 on purchases within the 1st 3 months of opening your account to get the bonus!
With this card you also get 5% cash back (on up to $2,000 in spending) in 2 categories (such as books stores, department stores, and electronic stores) of your choice each quarter.
You’ll also earn 2% cash back on 1 category you choose (gas stations, grocery stores, or restaurants).
Other card benefits include:
- 1% cash back on all other spending
- NO annual fee
But keep in mind, there is a 3% foreign transaction fee. So this card isn’t a good option for folks who are looking for a card to use overseas.
While the new $100 sign-up bonus is a nice added perk, the Chase Freedom card is still my favorite cash back card. That’s because I can use the Chase Ultimate Rewards points I earn (when I transfer to my Chase Sapphire Preferred card) with airline and hotel partners for Big Travel!
And folks who prefer to earn cash back still may do better with the Discover it® Miles. You can get 1.5% back on all purchases and your miles are matched at the end of the first year.

I still prefer the Chase Freedom card, because I can get more value by transferring the Chase Ultimate Rewards points I earn to my Chase Sapphire Preferred card and then to airline and hotel partners.
