And don’t forget, there’s also an AMEX offer available for $15 off a $50+ purchase at 1-800-Flowers.  So you could stack these deals, save money, and earn bonus miles too!

10,000 AAdvantage points? HA! Confederate dollars are almost worth as much. If you do the promotion 10 times, you might get a First Class one-way to Hawaii — unless you want to fly on a day that requires 125,000 points – One Way!!

Does shopping with 4 different merchants within the American Airlines eShopping network qualify for the 10K bonus miles? Or, does it have to be the 4 partners you listed above?

AAdvantage miles are borderline worthless right now, with virtually zero SAAver level award space on any route, so keep that in mind before getting too excited about this. You’re unlikely to score so much as a domestic 1-way even with all 4 partners in play, but if it puts you over the top for a worthwhile Intl. partner award then go for it.

Also, the Vinesse wine club isn’t the easiest thing in the world to cancel. If memory serves, had to be done over the phone and they’ll try mightily to get you to – at most – park your account as inactive. Be persistent. Finally, the “wine” in question is roughly on par with what an amateur/enthusiast zymurgist can ferment/vint at home. Or maybe I’m just a snob….
